Ahhhh...... Cool weather!!! One of the many joys of November. The hot summer of Florida has finally ended, and the cool breezes are quite refreshing on my sunburnt skin. (ok, maybe it's not sunburnt... or tan.... ok, fine, I'm white as a sheet!!! hahaha) But anyway, it's a really nice change.
The other great thing about November is Thanksgiving!!! It's a close tie between Christmas and Thanksgiving for my favorite holiday. My favorite part of both of these holidays is that I get to see family and friends I may not have gotten to see all year!!! So I LOVE fall and winter.

It's been SO crazy here. I know that most people blog about how they should write more, and blah blah blah... But I don't need to write more. This is just one of those blogs where I can write about my life at my leisure. Which is really nice. So I hope you have all been enjoying my "spazzy" blogging. Hahaha...

School has been going well. I got all A's on my first report card!!! (yeah, I know I'm a geek- oh, well, I was proud of myself!) There are SOOO many projects and assignments and after school things and and and and...... Hahaha you get the idea. So I have been slightly overwhelmed, but I'm getting used to it.

I'm going to have to get to bed... It's nearly 11 now. I'll try to post tomorrow... or sometime next month.

Guy Facts: When a guy calls you, he wants to be with you. When a guy is quiet, he's listening to you. When a guy is not arguing, he realizes he's wrong. When a guy says, "I'm fine, " after a few minutes, he means it. When a guy stares at you, he wishes you would care about him and wonders if you do. busy month

Hey everyone!! I know I haven't been posting much. I ahve been really busy!!! School started about 4 weeks ago (I think... I lost track!) so I have had a TON of stuff going on! Between homework, youth group, friends, family, and more homework, I haven't had any time to sit down and blog! So this post might be kinda long... Oh, well. You'll just have to deal.

Ok. The first thing on my long list of updates is SCHOOL!!! Oh my goodness! I have been having SO much fun at Burns!!! Most people who have gone there for a long time say it's a terrible school, but so far I like it! But maybe I'm just a dork. Whatever. What matters is that I am SO SO SO happy to be back in school! I am in all honors and gifted classes, and on the yearbook staff, as well as FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) so I am really busy! Plus I am planning on trying out for track and volleyball when the seasons roll around. That's one of the weirdest things I've noticed about public school, as opposed to private school- the sports seasons are almost reversed. Where as private schools have the volleyball season first, then soccer, then basketball, and then football, with cheerleading all year, public schools have basketball first, then track, then soccer, and then girls volleyball and boys football, with no cheerleading. It's a big difference for us volleyball players!! But, anyway, that's not all that important. But school is fun so far!!

My next update has to be about Rebecca Julian! She is SO big!! She laughed last night at me for the second time! The first time was just a giggle, a few weeks ago. But this time, it was a full-out belly laugh! I'll try to post the audio of it at the end- it may or may not work. But here are a few pictures!!!

Let's see... what other hundreds of updates can I talk about? Oh! My youth pastor's wife just had a baby!! His name is Justice Scott Odom, and he is ADORABLE! He weighed in at 7 pounds 10 ounces and was 20 inches long! I can't wait to see him in person! Here is a picture:

Simeon Nix, our Minister of Music at our church, died suddenly of a heart attack on August 18. Our church already lost our Senior Pastor, Forrest Pollock, back in May, along with his eldest son, Preston. We deeply miss them both, but we have handled this situation with "Amazing Grace", if you ask me. George Thomasson, our Associate Senior Pastor, has taken over the pulpit for a while, until we find a permanent Senior Pastor, and Rich Nelson has stood up and is handling the Music Ministry. Please pray for our church as we go through these difficult times, but rejoice as well! Hundreds of new believers have stepped forward in the services we held for our beloved pastors, and more and more come every Sunday. Pray that our loss would be a light to the rest of the world!!

Well, I'm gonna go eat some dinner... I would have posted more, but I'm needed in the kitchen. More later!!

nothing new

Hey people!!!! I haven't been on in a while, because there's been nothing going on!!! I have been going to a LOT of movies with friends, and went to a few sleepovers, and the beach a few times, but nothing exciting worth updating about. So, I guess I'll just talk a little. Or type a little. Ha ha!

Becca is getting so big!!! She has been holding her head up and getting stronger and stronger every day!!! She is SO adorable, and she talks all the time! She's been sick the past few days, though. We have all had a cold, and she was no exception. She's been all snuffly and cries a lot. But other than that she's been good!!

I went on the StarShip dinner cruise the other day with my friends Scarlett, who's mom paid for it, Leah, and Dakota (did I spell it right??) and OH MY GOSH it was SO much fun!!!! We got there and boarded the ship, which had three levels, the top one outside, the middle one a dance floor and bar, and the bottom the dining area. We wandered around for a while, and I must say, I was VERY uncomfortable at first- I'm not one for fancy places. But after a while, I got more comfortable, and it was FUN!!! We went up to the dance floor and messed around for a while, and when we sat down to eat, it started raining. So we stayed inside the majority of the ride, but it was still awesome!! We ate or fancy-schmancy meals and then went up to the dance floor again, where we requested a million songs, and then danced!!! I have never danced in front of a bunch of people before, so it was quite an experience. Our grand finale was the Cha Cha Slide!!! We acted like a bunch of idiots in front of all these people, and we got quite the applause!!! It was a blast. Thanks Scarlett and Mrs. Fox!!!

I know I haven't been e-mailing much, but I'm gonna try to check my inbox more often!! I haven't really been home a lot, so I haven't been able to sit down and check all of my e-mail. But I'm trying!!! I'll e-mail you guys as soon as I can!!

Well, it's pretty late, so I should get to bed. More later!!!

Hey guys--

Sorry I haven't been online lately. I was at camp, and before that, I was just being lazy! So now i have several updates:

First of all, Becca is HUGE!!! She is (I'm guess-timating, here) about 12 lbs.! She is so long, and strong as ever! She can push herself up now, at only 7 weeks! But she has been losing her hair! Her precious baby hair. But it's starting to grow back a little, thankfully. I think she's gonna be blonde. I might make a poll on that...

Anyway, we have had so much going on!! My half brother was down the weekend before camp, and I don't think they're going to want to come back anytime soon! They had the most awful weekend here- Joey waas sick when they got here, and then Brenda and Stephen got sick while they were here! We wound up taking Joey to the ER, and then it rained all weekend, so we couldn't go anywhere. I'm sorry guys!!

Then, we get back from camp, and find out that NOTHING is happening with the house. We have been trying to sell it, but no one seems seriously interested. Won't someone buy our house?!? I want to move!!

And camp: Wow! It was the most amazing experience I've ever had. We had an amazing speaker and band, and, of course, our youth pastor is ALWAYS awesome! (I think we have the best pastor in the whole church!!!) So that was an awesome week for me and my dad. I want to go back! Ha!

My Sweet Baby Sister

Hey guys!! Haven't been on much lately because we have been very busy with getting ready for camp in a couple weeks, Father's Day, and for the arrival of my 1/2 brother in a couple weeks! (And no, he's not being born, just coming to Florida- I know I make it sound like he's a new baby or something! Ha!) So we have been cleaning, packing, shopping- all kinds of stuff!! So here's what's been going on--

First, camp. I am going to camp for the first time this year! I know, I know, I've never been to camp. But I was always too much of a chicken butt to go!! I was either scared or sick every year. So, finally, I'm going! And I'm on the yellow team for the Hucka Mucka relay! I have the whole deal- yellow clothes, nail polish, hair color, eye shadow- everything! And my dad is on the hot pink team! Ha! He's also camp nurse, so everyone is trying to get him to wear pink scrubs after Jonathan suggested it!! (Great idea, Jonathan! He he!) So we are going to have a blast!!

And of course, there's Father's Day. My dad is going to buy us a new car! (Yeah, I know, Dad buying his own Dad's Day present! Typical!!) We are getting a Honda Pilot, and it's nice!! He also placed a bid on a house!! But we have to sell our house before we can even think about buying a new house. But at least we're heading in the right direction!

So next week, my half brother, Joey, is coming down from Pennsylvania with his mom and two little brothers. He's eight, and Stephen is two or three, and Garrett isn't even one! It's going to be a crazy weekend!!! We are going out on the boat, and then to Busch Gardens, and they leave on Monday after my dad and I leave for camp. So it's definitely going to be a packed weekend!!

Well, I don't think I have anything else to say... More later!!!

a month and a year

Becca is one month old!!! Well, actually, she's four weeks. But close enough! She will be a month on the 9th. Yay! She has gotten so big, and so cute! She can almost hold her head up by herself (already!) and is super strong! She's so adorable...!!! Pics at the end of this post.





So I was thinking today about this school year, and I realized that I have nothing to prove that I actually had a seventh grade year. There isn't a real yearbook for F.I.S.H., so I can't have that memory, and I have nothing but a few binders to show that I actually did work. Kind of depressing. But at least I get to go to school next year! I am completely registered, even though the test scores for this year haven't come in yet. But they aren't a big deal. So yay! I get to go to school! I know, like I'm sure I've said, I'm the dork that can't wait to go back to school! But when you miss a year of the whole 'classroom setting', you get very excited about going back! So..... yeah. Ha ha!





Oh! Mrs. Loveall, my 5th grade language teacher, had her baby! His name is Andrew James, and he is ADORABLE!!! Congrats, Mr. and Mrs. Loveall!!!

school & baby smacking

So my dad registered me for school! I'm so excited... I got my physical today, and all my stuff is turned in and everything! Yay! So no more homeschool! Homeschooling is ok, but it's not for me. I prefer to have a real teacher, thank you. So next year I get to go to Burns! No more PMS for Carly. (PMS is Paugh Middle School, just so you know- haha!)

Guess I need to update on Becca, huh? She is doing great! She is getting SO big! I can't wait for her to be as big as Mark, can you believe it? I wanted a new baby so bad, but I forgot how much work it is!! Mark is so awesome with her, too. But he did hit her the other day. He has one of those spaghetti balls, you know, the rubbery ones, and he swung it at her and hit her square in the head! She wasn't even phased by this, though. It was funny for me, after I looked back on it. When it happened, though, Mark was in SO much trouble.... Talk about time-out!

Well, that's all! We leave for the beach on Friday, so I don't know if I'll ba able to get on much... The laptop is coming with me, though. So maybe I will... We'll see! More later!

OK people. If you have no sense of humor, please don't work at a Publix.

So my dad and I are in Publix buying ingredients for s'mores today. We walk up to the counter with all our stuff, plus someother odds and ends. The lady at the counter says "S'mores tonight?" and my dad goes "No..." Now it gets better-the cashier is so embarrassed, and she's all like (in a very hushed voice) "Oh... I ..... I just thought.... You know, since....the chocolate and marshmallows........ uh.........." It was hysterically funny!!! My dad then starts apologizing to her, like "I'm sorry, yes, we are having s'mores." and stuff like that, while I just hang back, biting my tongue to keep from laughing in this girl's face! Oh, my dad....

That's the funny thing for today!

2 weeks old

Yesterday Becca turned 2! Weeks, that is. She is so adorable! We are taking her to church for the first time tomorrow!!! I'm just excited to be able to finally show her off! I'll let you guys know how it goes!

Oh, yeah, and Mark was cute today. He said that I'm not Becca's Sissy, only his. It was cute! Gotta love it!

And to Dani- have fun in Hawaii! I know you'll read this eventually! Ha!
